Reptiles Wiki appears to be virtually abandoned. We're getting an edit every three weeks or so, and half of them are vandalism. I'm making an effort to change that and get the wheels of this wiki turning again. I've invited people from a forum that I frequently visit, Imperial Palace, to come and contribute here- these are knowledgeable, well-contributing people with a collective love of animals. I am hopeful that they will contribute and help to fill in the gaps that this wiki has. Many of them are particularly interested in prehistory.
If any of the old users see this message, I'm also encouraging you to return to the wiki and take up contributing. We are still nowhere near complete- there are thousands of reptiles alive today alone, and while we cannot possibly hope to have an article on every single species, we should at least fill in some of the missing gaps. Hopefully we do get new members from Imperial Palace, and at least one or two of the older users return. Reptiles Wiki was doing so well; it would be very nice to see that again.
- Ahh, someone's lifted me from my rock! *scurry*
- Yeah, I really haven't been on here in a while, have I? I guess I thought people'd go on without me and continue to edit the wiki, as I had other projects I wanted to take on. It's kinda sad to see it virtually untouched...I feel kinda bad now for leaving it alone for so long.
- I guess I'm just gonna have to get back to editing! Most important thing besides actual articles is some good infrastructure, which is severely lacking right now compared to most other wikis. I have a trick or two up my sleeve. :) From here on out you'll see me doing mostly infrastructure/aesthetics! Thesaurus Rex 14:05, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
- I do agree that the Quality Control Center should be helpful. Additionally I already have a couple of interested people on Imperial Palace.
