Pteranodons are large reptiles that lived during the late Cretacious period. They have large wings, fur and hollow bones that allowed them to fly. The purpose of there crest is unknown, but it could've been used as a sexual display. It ate fish, lizards, and small mammals. Pteranodons had long beaks so that they could reach into small cracks and crevices to retrieve the creature inside or use it to snatch fish out of the water like a heron.
